Washington DC, United States: The President of the United States – Joe Biden, has shared a statement related to the bombardment on the Gaza City Hospital. Recently, Biden mocked the terrorist group Hamas and stated that the militants must learn how to shoot straight.
On Wednesday, during his solidarity visit to Israel, Biden commented that the Hamas terrorists “gotta learn how to shoot straight.”
This statement was made by the leader a day after a blast at a hospital in Gaza. The attack was regarded as a massacre as it killed around 500 civilians in Palestine.
President of the United States, Biden, has an interactive session with the reporters during which he said the attack was deliberately made by the militant group. He was further quoted saying, “It’s that old thing: Gotta learn how to shoot straight.”
While returning back to Washington DC, at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, President Biden stated that this is not the first time that Hamas has launched something and it did not work properly.

This statement was made by the President after Israeli authorities blamed the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) for the attack. They stated that the bombing at the hospital was the result of a failed rocket launch by PIJ. Although, these accusations were rejected by the group.
However, it is to be noted that the militants of Hamas have blamed the airstrike from the Israeli Defense Force, responsible for the incident.
Biden’s statement:
President Joe Biden highlighted that he is not aware of every tiny detail of the incident, but the Defense Department of the US has been researching the matter. He further said that the Department has, for now, confirmed that the attack was not carried out by the Israeli Defense Forces.
Biden was quoted saying, “I don’t know all the details, but I do know the people at the Defense Department who I respect and the intelligence community that I respect, say it is highly improbable that Israel did that.”
Joe Biden’s official tour to Israel
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden reached Israel to show his firm support and solidarity towards the nation – which has been dealing with conflict with the Palestinian-based terrorist group. Hamas surprisingly attacked Israel on October 7, and since then, Israel has been acting counteroffensive.
The trip was high-stakes because of the worsening situation in the region. The concerns about safety of Biden increased because of the recent bombardment in the City Hospital of Gaza.

According to the schedule earlier, the President was expected to visit Jordan to attend a Summit with the ministers of Egypt and Palestine. However, it was canceled because of the uncertain attack.
During the visit to Israel, Biden met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Biden assured him (PM Netanyahu) that the United States will continue its support towards the nation during such a crucial time. In addition to this, he also mentioned that he knows that the attack on the Gaza Hospital was not carried out by Israel.
He said, “The blast at al-Ahli hospital in Gaza appeared to have been done by the other team and not you.” Further, he clarified that he made this statement after receiving information from the US Department of Defense.
